The below letters were written to Mr. H.K. Thompson, co-author of the book Doenitz at Nuremberg: A Re-Appraisal:  War Crimes and the Military Professional.  These letters are from four prominent US Navy Admirals; Allan E. Smith, M.E. Murphy and T.F. Donohue

These letters clearly defend Karl Doenitz and cast reservations on the validity and legality of the Nuremberg Trials.
